Lol. How can you count guys that have'nt even landed on campus yet or kids that you have no idea if they will make the league. I guess I could include Chad Jones who isn't playing because of his car accident and the kids that are currently committed to the 2013 class. Don't forget Craig Loston and freshman Ronald Martin who hasn't played much.
Geez, dude. You can give LSU credit for something. We can call Bama LB U. But LSU has put a lot of DBs and DL into the league. That's why they are considered DBU and DLU.
About Mathieu: if he plays like he did last year, I will say he is the best LSU player ever. He always makes great plays.

The Answer is NO. I doubt he would be in the Top 10. If you think so, you are selling LSU very short. A very good player but not @ the top of the list.

Seriously. Mathieu is an opportunist. How many of those 'fumbles caused' was due to the opposing ball carrier already being wrapped up by another LSU defender?
Hell, the opportunity was there in November to clothesline Dre from behind and Mathieu took it. He will not go heads up, eye to eye, one on one with an opponent and make a spectacular play. Due to his lack of size, no doubt.
He's a good player, more as an opportunist rather than from a skill standpoint.
