I love Tim. Always have, always will.

But I'm gonna be honest, he just doesn't sound that smart to me. He knows what he's trying to say, but it just comes across like a kid is saying it... it's hard to explain. I don't see it talked about much here. I am honestly surprised he's been allowed to -stay- in the host/commentator spot light. I say all that to say I think a good head coach in the college game has to be an effective communicator and has to be sharp regarding how to make players' perception of them what it needs to be etc.

Spot on.

I think his man-childness has been mentioned here frequently though probably not as much as it should be. I respect him as a player and a man but there is something very weird about him. Probably the home-school stuff done to him by his parents. Hope that doesn't offend some of you evangelicals but it's true.

I would like to see him on the staff at UF in some capacity. His energy and positive outlook would be an asset to the team.

? He isn't a leader of the pack. When he was at Florida Urban was leader of the pack followed by a big surrounding cast. He was the unifying rah rah guy. Still is a rah rah guy. He is the guy in the lookout tower not the General giving commands. It really isn't that hard to understand. It just simply isn't his role. He would likely make a great coordinator or off the field offensive analyst or recruiter. I could be wrong though. You guys should try and get him on Dan Mullen's staff so he can get his feet wet.

Nah, championship level coaches don't have a firm grasp of reality or the proper perspective on life.

Tebow has his priorities. I happen to agree with his priorities, but they don't leave room to be an ultra obsessive and maniacally controlling coach
