Duke, Auburn, and Houston are locked in.
The final spot is down to Florida, Bama, and Tennessee with Florida in current control.
I think unlike past years, the committee will let conference tourney results factor which teams get seeded where because it’s basically a guarantee that the SEC has slot 4, 5, and 6. The teams don’t really matter now as they can plug each of these into their spot at the last minute.
Slot 4 will be the final 1-seed, likely out West.
Slot 5 will be the first 2-seed… likely paired in the Midwest with Houston.
Slot 6 will be the second 2-seed… likely paired with Duke in the East.
I think if Bama, UF, or UT wins the SEC Tourney, they’ll get slot 4.
The team that makes the SEC Tournament final but loses probably gets slot 5.
The team that gets booted in the semifinals or earlier probably gets slot 6.

Seeding is generally set before the finals of conference championship Sunday games. SeC could trim the field and complete the Tourney on Fri or NLT mid-day Sat, then it might have an impact.
Bama is a lock at 2 and AU at 1. Would benefit both to play it like a baseball conference tournament and rest TBH.

IF and its a HUGE if they win it and don't get a One, I want Nate Oats to go Full Metal a-hole on the Committee and force them to justify it.
They can't.
They can't.

He should just say Bama was in the wrong place at the wrong time and move on.

Best to hope for is the over 5 which would make them the first 2 seed

His complaints would need to be toward the SEC and not the committee.
It's the SEC that chooses to play the final rounds of their tournament after the seeding needs to be set!

The seeding-implications of this game were not major. Nate Oats articulated this ahead of the game, saying: "There's not a whole lot riding on this game other than some pride." Alabama did secure the three-seed next weekend in the SEC Tournament in Nashville, and a win like this could potentially propel them back on the one-line in the NCAA tournament if they are able to put together a solid performance in Nashville; however, that is not a given after yesterday's win.

Because we won the sec have more quad 1 wins beat you convincingly in Tuscaloosa in a much more meaningful game have less losses have no bad losses, that enough for you?

I'm good with the 2 seed. Just beat whoever you play...not a big difference to me.

Why hasn’t anyone just say ‘No’? There’s your answer op.

Honest question, has a 1 seed ever had 7 losses? I think it will be like the football playoff where it's more about if they can justify a team with fewer losses to prevent one conference from monopolizing the ages they will. I think bama should be ahead of Houston

North Carolina did…last year.

No. In my Scenario Bama would be SEC Tournament Champions. That carries the league's automatic NCAA bid and would likely need a second straight win vs Auburn to do it. You would have ONE more quad One win.
Bama if this happens with the better resume,.

I would rather be the highest two seed and be in the East than lowest one seed and be out West.

I hope not.. I wanna lose the next game and rest, 2 seed is good enough

It doesn't work that way. Confeeence tourneys are meaningless to top teams seeding. It's only possible impact is if lsu or someone won it.
