Consider me impressed as well. The most dynamic player at the WR position that I remember seeing live in several years. If he doesn't go tot he NFL after this year, he should. He could be getting paid 1st round money now.

That touchdown against Georgia was absolutely insane.

i've heard from a friend on the team that he would not be surprised if CP comes back for senior season.

says he really wants to get a degree and absolutely loves the college experience. the only downside is his grades may be too shitty for him to graduate from UT after a senior football campaign.

i think hunter is more likely to go pro. he has a child and it looks like he has already shut down for the season and just trying to stay healthy.

My buddy's son enrolled at Hutchinson in June and he had the chance to workout/train with Patterson for a bit. Now this kid was top 3 in Georgia 4A in the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles and ran a leg on the State Champ 4x400m relay. He also set records at his high school for combined receiving/return TDs in a season and is basically a high 4.3x hand-timed guy in the 40...so he can assess talent. He said he couldn't hang with Patterson in terms of speed and athleticism. This kid was timed at 4.38 and moved into Hutchinson's All-Time top 10 in the 40....he says Patterson is #1 with a hand-timed 4.2x. Also said Patterson was doing dunks that would qualify him for an NCAA Slam Dunk Contest.

The kid came home for a month this summer before going back to Hutchinson and he essentially had a different story about Patterson every day that I saw him and his dad in the gym. He told me to watch out for C.P. to clown.

Supposedly he's had a tough life and there may be a "Blind-Side" type movie if he is a high NFL Draft Pick.
