With the 59-30 win over offensive juggernaut Bowling Green State University, Coach Butch Jones (and his mighty Tennessee team composed of the greatest football players on God's green earth) FINALLY reached .500 as the Head Coach of the Vols.

Florida is terrible. This false sense of confidence after beating one of the worst teams in the nation is setting up an epic meltdown.

We played a pretty decent team. Put 59 points on them. More then beat the spread.
You played a team that in their last game last year...had 68 points put on them by ........ARKANSAS STATE!!

Tennessee usually uses beating up on shitty teams as proof that they're back. This year since their defense got exposed against their shitty cupcake opponent, the narratives changed to "Bowling Green isn't your typical cupcake", "it's because of our DB coach", "we were playing vanilla", etc.
