That "series of events" actually led to Vanderbilt going from being in shambles, pitching wise, to having a fully rested staff to throw in the finals. Miss st on the other hand, had to throw their ace twice, and cobble together pitching for game 1.

My point is true. Outside of UCF, I've never seen such a fanbase.
Nobody wants TN to fail because they think it proves they weren't the best. TN is the best team, have been all year. People want y'all to lose because your coach and fans are idiotic clowns with no self awareness. Spoiler alert - you message board warriors have had zero effect on the season.
You talk about my fan base. Go find a post by ME for an example. I can't control everyone. And I called out ONE poster in my original post. Now, I'm spreading the wealth.

There are a lot of people that thought NC State was the best team last year. It was a shame how that ended. As for this year, it is hard to come up with a better team than Tennessee. Maybe Stanford ...

Literally NO ONE thought that until they beat us. They got hot, that's all. Their regular season was average, at best.
Still, they should've had the chance to play it out and that was horrible mismanagement by the NCAA. The way state beat Vandy like a drum those last 2 games seem to indicate that it would've been a great series.

As for the debate of UTeener fans, yeah my neighbor is a great guy and Vawl alumni, I had to tell him before the season he needed to watch baseball, especially this year, otherwise he’d not even know, it’s lagniappe to him after getting bounced early in basketball.
