Honestly College softball is pretty fun to watch. It’s a little goofy at times, but it’s one of my favorite women sports.

Its funny how some say this dynasty will kill the sport while mentioning the UCLA and Arizona ones a few decades ago. If those dynasties killed the sport then OU wouldn’t be playing right now and TV ratings wouldn’t be beating baseball ratings.

So sensitive.

I just can’t picture myself bragging about women’s sports. It just doesn’t trigger the emotion in me like baseball or Football

By sheer numbers, women's basketball is more popular than baseball. It's not close. So for a UT fan, you should probably reconsider from a historical standpoint.

So tell me this... Why does most softball stadium only seat up to 3,000 fans and college basketball arenas are more than 10,000 if softball is the #2 sport and people enjoy it more than basketball lol

I am not an OU fan at all. These ladies represent OU with class and dignity and play with passion. Congrats to them

College softball isn't as popular as college baseball. just stop with the nonsense. Wow, ESPN & ABC covered the Women's WS. Check the postseason attendance numbers & TV ratings of both sports

not nearly as impressive as what saban has done. there is very little parity in women's athletics in general.

I think viewership was up because there was an SEC team playing OU. It sparked regional interest all across the Smokey Mountains, to the MS delta, to the nutria farms of Louisiana.

Then, OU made it to the championship game and these same peoples continued watching, most of the women chewing Beechnut and hollering Booma Soona.

Man it’s already been proven ….. more viewership than baseball for the World Series …. And it’s growing faster than any sport …. For the dumb dumbs who say why does a women’s basketball stadium seat 10k and softball seats 3k….. well it’s pretty obvious ….. a women’s basketball game at most schools usually fills about 3-5 rows and the rest are staggered and in softball the games are sold out ……… pretty simple actually and not to mention most of not all women’s basketball buildings are actually men’s basketball buildings and or courts lol. Nice try bud !

OU fans are obsessed with softball and gymnastics.

I guess it makes sense to talk about the sports that win in the postseason

They play the WCWS in OKLAHOMA CITY!

Imagine Alabama playing the CFP semifinal and championship games in Tuscaloosa every year.

Yeah…seems fair to me.
