LES out coached CTT and it was obvious that the better team won !!! Good luck the rest of the way this season. As far as AU stands, Im not sure of our future... This "O" must prove itself in the SEC. Secondly, CTT must prove he can return AU back to the SECCG. He is too well paid to consistantly go 9-3....

just beat Bama, and the world will be alright once again.
eta: I went to the game and have to say that Jordan-Hare was pretty damn loud! I really enjoyed the atmoshphere and the campus

Luke,
Honest question, What are your thoughts on the new offense? Do you think it will work consistently in the SEC?

scoop,
Its obvious that the current offensive unit doesnt have the necessary skill players to run this particular system.
Todd's arm is still 80% from the seperation injury prior to his transfer into AU. CTF should have known better to have brought him in if he will have limited ability to throw. What AU needs is a true run/throwing threat.
Last years recruiting class fell short IMO, however it may work out. WVU consistantly ran 2/3 star guys in their "O" with good results. This years class is shaping up nicely, its the most speed that AU has ever put on the "O" side of the field if it holds up...
The "D" will be fine. It was left on the field too long against LSU therefore the run became more effective as the game progressed. AU cannot allow consistant 3 and outs on the "O" side of the ball...

Is Cotton a dual threat type QB?

For what it's worth, I did think Todd looked a lot better than he has lloked so far. I think he will eventually be ok. I'm not sure what the deal is with Kodi Burns. He is a very talented athelete but I wonder about his capacity to learn this complex system.
As for stars: I think most of that is bullshite. You can't grade heart with a stopwatch. Tyrone Prothro was a 2 or 3 star and he was without a doubt the best player on our team until he broke his leg.
The speed that Auburn has recruited in this class is sick. I think this is just a transition year that will require patience from the Auburn fans, which is easier said than done.
Hang in there and I think Y'all will improve every weekend on offense and as long as that happens the defense can keep y'all in any game you play.

thats what they say, he is an elite 11 recruit... however, kodi burns was supposed to be a dual threat QB, we have another elite 11 QB in Neil Claudel "pro set" that will never see the field and Chris Todd that hasnt the necessary arm strenghth !

You are going to kill UT this weekend

Thanks, too bad most people do not respond like this. I do not see any point in nasty comments, before or after a game.
Thanks again
If you come over next year, please tailgate with us.

Luke, I just wanted to post about what a great time we had at the game. We arrived on Thursday and partied for three days in the rear RV lot. The Auburn fans were great and partied with us before and after the game. Everything was fantastic, including the electricity at game time. Classy comments like yours were the norm throughout the weekend.
