Most posts i have seen on the rant tonight have been pretty modest bama posts. They realize clemson is overrated. Good for them. - not sarcasm

No, they will be delusional until they lose in the next few weeks. They played a very bad poorly prepared Clemson team tonight.

clemson is a shitty team. no o-line, no defense, no coaching, and no heart. bama dominated them, but i'm hardly shaking in my boots. they destroyed tennessee last year and then promptly lost the next 4 games. saban does have this program going in the right direction...we will have some wars with bama in the next few years (or however long nick is there).

Hate Bama all you want but they DOMINATED a decent ballclub. Lets give them credit instead of saying that Clemson was SO overated!!! BTW I am one of the VERY FEW on this site that said Bama would even win this game. I saisd they would win rather easy.

I 100% agree that CLemson was overrated, but this team will not crumble and lose to a ULM this year. That was locker room bullshite from last year. I think LSU and Auburn are much better teams than Clsemson, but I'd be shocked if we choked like last year especially after watching our defense.

I don't hate Bama. And Clemson did not look like the #7 or 9 team in the nation tonight. However, they could turn it around.
If the other ACC teams' coaches don't follow saban's example in exploiting their weak OL, and cushion coverage they were giving the bama receivers, then they should not even be coaching.

Come on, if Clemson makes a game of it they have respect. Clemson folded like a cheap suit. This was their shinning moment to prove to the country they deserve and have earned the right to be a top ranked team. The light shinned as bright as it ever has on Clemson and they disappeared. I'm not taking anything away from Bama by saying that. Clemson sucked bad and I totally blame the coaches. A very sad game plan, they got totally out played and out coached.

I think the freshmen did a pretty good job tonight. I figured they were going to be deers in the headlights, but they acted like they'd been there before.

No way. This IS the SEC! Bama looked like, played like and won like an SEC team tonight. All our freshmen will get their real tests when conference play starts. We all are likely to see a few young guys look they are staring into headlights. Preparation and coaching will have them ready to respond, though.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the freshmen responded today. Some real impact players are going to emerge from this class.
The best thing (other than the W) was the very businesslike performance. Saban and the staff obviously had them all working as a unit, focused and ready for this game.
