3. No natural rivals in the SEC gave a false impression to y’all that Mizzou somehow lacks passion about its program like a real SEC team. We need to keep Kansas on the schedule every year, if those cowards will continue to play us. Over time, I’m sure some SEC games will develop some buzz and turn into rivals as well. Arkansas and South Carolina are both promising.

I don't give a shite if Arkansas views us a "rival" or not, but our games against South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee have all been back and forth and fantastic. Great fun and intense.

And I personally would savor wins over Georgia far more than beating Kansas. I'm still pissed about Barry Odom letting that transitioning doughboy Curby off hook in 2016. Eff BO's eraser head.

Better, but at least 50% of the fanbase has to get to this level of understanding prior to having your application for SEC welcome even looked at.

Honestly, it might help if the SEC allowed you guys to play Kansas the last game of the season the way the ACC/SEC rivalries work. Then you’d know how big of a deal it was or wasn’t if you won the game and could focus on being SEC quality to start (could cause you to lose more though due to SEC injuries vs them having soft B12 schedule).

It does feel like a lot of Arkansas fans go out of their way to tell us how little they care about having Mizzou on the schedule. It’s not like we’re over here pretending it’s a heated rivalry, but can’t we maybe try to make it fun?

I’m with you on South Carolina and Kentucky. Those could turn into rivalries over time.

Tennessee has been spicy because of the Heupel connection, but otherwise I don’t ever see that turning into a major game, especially from their perspective. It would be one-sided at best, kind of like our Oklahoma rivalry.

I don’t really care about the Florida game, other than it’s a big name on the calendar. And I know their fans don’t give a shite about us, and probably never will.

Couldn’t disagree with you more here. I am tired of Georgia smoking us, but I’d rather see Mizzou lose to them than Kansas regardless of the circumstances.
