Dak won the Cspire Connerly trophy(Mississippis best athlete). Back to back years. Other top contenders, Laquon Treadwell of Ole Miss, and Nick Mullins of Southern Miss. Congrats

Treadwell should have won that trophy.

Egg Bowl Trophy is right where it belongs....in Oxford!

I'll admit that I'm surprised, mainly because he won it last year. Nonetheless, congrats to Dak. He has been a great representative for MSU. Treadwell would've been a great selection too.

Shouldn't the best Mississippi athlete award be called the Walter Payton award?

Third best QB in the state won. They got it wrong

Fortunately for Dak, he doesn't play offensive line or defensive back, so that's not on him.

Without a doubt.

The pick 6 and fumble aren't on him?

He personally gave Ole Miss 14 points?

They got caught in the endless loop of State>USM>Memphis>Ole Miss>State, and just called the comparative strengths a wash.

Dak Basically just won the lifetime achievement award.

I'd say 7. The pick six. With the fumble, Ole Miss still had to drive 70 yards. Which they did with ease due to our swis cheese secondary.

Memphis is in the state of Mississippi?

Walter Payton is a great player as was Charlie Conerly....Both HOF. Both equally popular during their time.
