I am not going to make excuses. We were outplayed and out coached by a better team. JJs struggles and Miles' lack of a clue are just details on how you guys did it. I do think we'll be competitive again next year and look forward to our game but you are the champions.
I argued for LSU with many of you on this board and like others, am back to take my medicine if you should choose to administer it. Enjoy the title.

Bama never respected the 9-6 LSU win. I refuse to respect their win last night. Not being butthurt, just not playing into their delusional entitlement mentality.

The 9-6 win was in OT & Bama outgained LSU, had more scoring opportunities, etc. it isnt that we didnt respect/acknowledge the win. We did. It's that most Bama fans feel the better team didnt win, which sometimes happens in close games.
Last night showed that Bama was the better team. I still think LSU is the clear #2 team.

This one hurts after the season we had. But a hearty congrats to the Tide nation. 6 straight for the SEC, going for #7 next year!!!

Every fan base has their delusional contingent. If the shoe was on the other foot, LSU would be clamoring to get in the NC game and would discount the Nov 5 game too.
We were beaten fair and square yesterday but I think there are so many positives to take from the season. I would rather lose in the NC game than beat up on overrated Big 10 and ACC teams in a meaningless bowl game.

Please explain how in the first game Bama had more scoring opportunities. How many plays did Bama run in the red zone?

That gif... it was a planned play that did not go as expected. JJ was supposed to bounce the ball off of Spencer Ware and take it on the rebound.
