Set your ego aside and ask what does tu and Austin offer that can't be found elsewhere?

Texas has finished in the Top 4 in 37% of all CWS

6 NC
6 Runner Ups
16 3rd or 4th Place (yes 4th place used to be a thing)

28 / 76 = 37%

You can't find that history anywhere else.. perhaps there is a reason for it.. perhaps baseball players prefer Austin..

A&M has everything Texas has minus the history. Lateral move

also minus the street people, the dildos, the crap stadium and location and a dozen other things Schloss would hate.

zero chance he would ever go, and he's about to design his own custom built Stadium where Ags will continue kicking longhorn arse as has become our custom.

Program legacy has almost zero impact on who you can hire and recruit.

This logic has me convinced.

#SchlossToTexas confirmed. It was a good run while it lasted.

-Downtown Austin is a dump overrun by hobos and drug dealers
-Disch is a disgrace of a baseball field
-Texas has history, but they haven't won anything since the alcoholic abuser Augie was in charge

Texas has tried to hire Schloss at least three times in the past when he was at TCU. And CDC and Schloss are such "good friends" that he didn't even tell Schloss he was leaving when CDC left for Austin.

I think you guys will be surprised at just how poor your facilities are in comparison to the rest of the conference. I mean you had to delay a softball game because literal trash was pouring out into the outfield.

I didn't say anything about facilities.

Yall have a fantastic history. No one will deny it.

But the incoming freshman next year weren't alive for your national title.

Schloss has now won 4 games in Omaha and counting. Do you know how far you have to go back to find 4 wins in Omaha for yall? 2014.

You don't hold any significant edge in facilities, salary, fanbase, etc.

What is the selling point? CDC was Schloss's boss before. I am not even sure that is a selling point.

Don’t need to because things like that matter to coaches. Your facilities are garbage and you can’t just easily rebuild or build new.

good deal- it's a sign of growth that you're so accepting of your new role.

A lot of teams that inlast 5 years have gone 1-5, 0-1 in Regionals,
0-1 in World Series, and 0-3 at home would be bitter and depressed.

Your acceptance of the domination will serve you well in your new SEC ventures.

Didn't you post a thread earlier today that showed Texas having higher attendance than all but 4 other teams in country, including a&m, despite Texas spending almost the entire year unranked?

Seems like the fanbase isn't the problem...

Kind of like all of the AD hires. Sarkisian was a HC failure before he was hired. Same goes for a lot of the hires made.

Mike White was a HC failure at Oregon? 4 of 5 CWS 2014-2018
Chris Beard was a HC failure at Texas Tech? Runner Up in 2019.
Vic Schaefer was a HC failure at Miss State? Runner Up in 2018.
Edrick Floréal was a HC failure at Kentucky? Runner Up in 2015.
Laura Ianello was a HC failure at Arizona? NC in 2018.
Stein Metzger was a HC failure at UCLA? NC in 2018 & 2019.
Bob Bowman was a HC failure at Arizona State? NC in 2024 and hired 2 days later.

I may have missed 1, but these are CDC's hires.

So once again, you have been misguided.

Do you know what significant means? I know the odds are that you didn't actually attend UT, or any university, so I'm legit asking

Quick, name the last time an A&M football, basketball, or baseball coach left A&M for t.u. or the other way around.

Ouch. Struck a nerve I see.

I'd say a Texas baseball team outside the top 50 in program history outdrawing a&m by over 1,000 people (in the midst of their greatest season ever for any men's athletic team in the history of their athletic department) is somewhat significant

Maybe if you were less emotional you could've gotten better grades and attended THE University of Texas (like I did)

That list of coaches is pretty meh ... The only two I know are Vic Schaefer (because of A&M), and Chris Beard because he was all over the news as a woman beater.

None of them were "names" except Beard. All up and comers
