One of your “reasons” was that Schloss isn’t satisfied with the pace of our progress in facilities, which are immeasurably nicer than yours in every way

I said..
Maybe Schloss isn't happy with the pace the facilities are being upgraded..

I also said..
Maybe Schloss doesn't like bubbles..

And as for "immeasurably nicer than yours in every way"..
We have a bigger stadium..
We have more chairbacks..

So no, not in every way..

Both the Disch and Olsen could use some updating, but I happen to like both stadiums.. but as I said, that can all be changed.. renovated.. updated.. torn down..

If Schloss were to leave, I could see A&M taking a chance on Max Weiner. Somebody is going to do so

He wasn't satisfied at the start of the year. However, he has an 80M commitment as of about a month ago. He even has an end date ...

Perhaps Schloss didn't like that it took the threat of Texas coming for him to finally get the upgrades he was promised when he signed..

That means he has been walking around unhappy for almost 2 years..

Texas might have come calling before that was announced as well.. This deal might have been done months ago..

It wasn't about Texas. It was about finalizing the plans ... they look quite different than the original plans after he provided his input.

Texas lost to A&M Corpus Christi on March 26th
Texas lost to UTRGV on April 16th

A&M announces baseball renovations around May 8, 2024.
link: A&M Renovations

That timing is curious, but I suppose you could argue both sides..

There is one big wildcard for me that points more to Vitello than Schloss

Schloss added a couple portal transfers in the last 10 days or so..
Vitello (to my knowledge) hasn't added any yet this year..

Where are you getting he was ”walking around unhappy?”
That seems quite the exaggeration.
A couple of years is just two ticks for the approval of $80 Million in renovations.

It’s always been TV. Like I said on the first page. A bunch of arguing for nothing ITT. Win or lose this weekend, TV has spent his final days in Knoxville.

Oh, and the Tennessee melt will be glorious. All time melt potential

That's weird. How come Texas had a higher strength of schedule than everyone in the SEC

By pure idiocy. The Big 12 was dog shite last year. And y’all lost to a dog shite Oklahoma team. 2 losses. tu would have gone 8-4 in the SEC last year.

Texas would never do this, but Texas really needs maximum wiener. They should offer him a head coach position.

Yes I that right. I’m not changing it.

1. You have over 1,000 posts in June alone. I think its time to calm down a little.

2. the BOR approved 60 M in 2022. It was upped to 80 M this year. Plans have been out, but as already said, they're changing them. Bigger and Better.

I assume he wanted the facilities upgrades when he came over in the summer of 2021.. that is about 3 years ago?

Colorado Ag said he "wasn't satisfied" earlier this year

not satisfied ~ unhappy ~ disgruntled ~ curious

He was vocal in talking about the needed upgrades early this year, plus making sure that attendance was full. He's also on record that he loves the upgrades that are coming, and the support of the fans. A&M has had an incredible home environment this year ...

All of this is not a secret

Yeah we are gonna tear down our stadium and do a major renovation built just like he wants it.

And right when we are gonna break ground on delivering exactly what he wants to continue getting to Omaha….

Texas calls and he’s gonna leave so he can start that process all over again.

He’s finally got the program where he probably feels he can be competitive for a while.

You think he’s gonna just leave because Austin is better? Or you are Texas? Or because he has a friend in Austin in CDC?

I don’t think he wants to start all over.
I think he feels he has his program where he wants it and doesn’t want to leave the baby he built.
I do think he may get paid more because he’s earned it. And he may get more facilities because we need it to keep winning.

But I haven’t heard an argument that make sense in favor of why he would leave a championship team.

Because you’re Texas? Please. You are a program in shambles that needs to be completely rebuilt to compete in the SEC.
It’s a little different than him leaving TCU. We have the ability to pay him whatever he wants and give him whatever he needs.

He’s not going anywhere except to Omaha next season. Again.

Apparently Maximus Weiner has targetted coaching under Schloss for his current place in his career.

Not sure if you heard about him leaving the Mariners, but he flew down to CS to interview for the job and when he got it the same day he never returned to Seattle - has stayed in CS since.

I'd put him down for another year or two at least before looking for a HC gig outright.

Texas: (1) destroyed the SEC champion on the road that beat every single SEC team they played, while (2) having a tougher strength of schedule than any other SEC team not named Alabama... would've lost to 4 teams SEC teams not named Alabama last year?

Logic is not your strongest attribute...
