Texas will keep the SEC out of the state of Texas

What do you mean by this? Because most everyone knows that LSU has recruited S. TX very well for many years.

Why would Texas want to let part of it's self dominated state be saturated with SEC marketing and Teams? They DO NOT need the money.

What?

When you have enough money you always keep your competition down and out. Texas has just that.

Oh, please...

It is cute that aggie thinks they have some say in this matter. They will do EXACTLY what Texas tells them to do.

no denying that. i can't believe i'm saying this, but i would rather have Texas in the SEC than the faggies. Austin is 100000000x better than that shite hole college station.

pretty much. They had a chance to grow a set when the whole conference talk was happening and chose to do what Texas told them.

I don't think anyone, outside of CS, can disagree with this.

Just like Nebraska and Colorado?

Texas has pretty much killed the Big 12. They want to go independent anyhow.

I don't really think the Aggies care about what the Longhorns do at this point.

What you think doesn't matter. From looking at their past decisions regarding their ath program... they always do what UTa tells them to do.

Since I live in Texas and have some idea about how the Big 12 was formed, how the Texas legislature is involved in conference politics, and how Baylor is involved in anything... I'm guessing I know a bit better.

Then you should know that UTa has the most pull in the legislature... and they always seem to get what they want.

Texas and Texas A&M are no problem. They can both do pretty much what they want. Texas Tech and Baylor are the ones that get bailed out. If the Big 12 had been shut down last year, then they wouldn't be in a BCS conference. A&M has the facilities and academics to join any conference it wants.

That wasn't my point... you said they don't care what UTa says. I pointed out that everytime they have a chance to do their own thing... UTa drops the hammer on'em.
