4-1 against the SEC in the most recent bowl games

Outside of CFPs, the bowl game give a shite factor for the most part is back to the 60s era when NC was decided before the Bowls and the game was an exhibition and reward for players to enjoy the experience.

Simply too many of them. It's everyone gets a trophy in the era of transfer portals and opt-outs.

The kids that play will play hard, the coaches will take advantage of the extra practices for the next season, and the fans will watch, but there isn't a lot of brag factor anymore.

As for scheduling, had the Big 12 not become the Big "10" in reality, they wouldn't be playing a 9 game schedule either.

ADs don't like the uneven home vs away split. I like it personally, but it's about $$. Would be nice if they had worked out a 4 home, 4 away, and 1 neutral site schedule.

Why are you posting OOC schedules? It has no bearing on SEC teams scheduling 8 games to avoid an extra loss for 50% of the members.

Math is hard for you guys

Why are you ignoring this....

So does the SEC just get lucky in the playoffs? I mean that has to be the case if the rankings for the SEC are overinflated. It's crazy seeing the following playoff records:

SEC 14-5 - .737
ACC 6-6 - .500
Big 10 3-5 - .375
Big 12 0-4 - .000 (ooomph)
Pac 12 1-2 - .333
Independent - 0-1 .000
American - 0-1 .000

If the SEC is overrated in the rankings, one would expect them to lose most of their playoff games instead of having a winning % almost 400% higher than their nearest competitor. Doesn't make sense. And if an unnamed conference were being underrated, don't you think that conference might sniff a single playoff win by now?

SEC is TOP Heavy. They typically have 1-2 teams that are elite.

the real inflation is #3 and below that has been explained ad Naseum in this thread

Name another conference that has more than 3 elite teams a year.

No one has three elite teams in one year.

No one is denying SEC at the top (UGA BAMA AND LSU most recently)

The rest of the conference is what is truly overrated

Why? Because you’re whining about SEC playing eight conference, and insinuating that SEC schools play a weaker schedule. Baylor plays nine conference games in a weaker conference and then usually schedules three high school teams. Meanwhile, SEC schools play eight conference games and schedules one or two additional P5 teams. What schedule sounds harder to you?

Logic and math is so hard for you guys.

When 6 *different* programs win national titles in a 25 year period, the problem isn't the conference being overrated.

The ACC, I believe, is the only other conference that can claim *2* different teams having won a National Title in the same time frame.

Get your shite together, and maybe, just maybe you'd understand the difference between *6* programs that can and have got it done in the lifetime of most people, and 2 or fewer.
