Vandy, meet Rice. Rice, meet Vandy. Now run along.
You might not realize this, but Vandy (and Miss State) are more of an SEC school than Texas will ever be.
Y'all Texas folks aren't going to come in and start kicking teams out. But, if addition is really subtraction, how about we start with Texas?

If you look at the most watched SEC games this year it was (in some order) Georgia, LSU, Texas, Bama, OU, Fla.
Now you are just making stuff up. It becomes real apparent when you don't post a link. The top 5 in the SEC in football were UGA, UTrans, Tenner C, A&M and LoSerU in that order.
Sorry to make you look stupid, again. You should try to use this thing called "Google". It can keep you from looking so stupid.

Culture is EVERYTHING. That’s a big reason why the SEC works so well. Everyone is Southern to some degree and we have the contiguous state thing going.
How would you like to be in a conference with KState, Iowa State, Nebraska and the like? You wouldn’t because of the culture.

Being SEC for nearly 100 years seems like a reason, no?
Tough scene here for MtVernon.
The guy just doesn’t get it.
He’s looking at State from a win loss perspective.
State is a foundational member of the conference.
They will never be asked to leave or “kicked out”.
I, and most LSU fans, are pissed we aren’t playing them again.
State is an SEC pillar.

Why would we drop Mizzou when they've played for a championship more recently than Tennessee?

Let's stoke this fire on a Friday morning:

UNC Chancellor Lee Roberts: "Delighted that the settlement was reached. It's a good thing for the conference. We are a proud member of the ACC, a founding member of the ACC. We've been a member of the ACC since 1953, so over 70 years now. As always, we'll do what's best for Tar Heel athletics and for the university as a whole."
