I for one would be happy to have UGA #1. Saban is always looking for motivational fodder and perceived disrespect to fire up his team. This would provide a nice spark down the stretch. And frankly, UGA has a better resume so far. So go ahead and give them the bullseye.

Not surprising at all really.
UGA's premiere OOC win obviously trump's Alabama's, as Notre Dame is having a good year while FSU is tanking.

I understand the computer aspect of this but, on the human side, until you beat #1 you can't be #1. I'd rather the Dawgs to be #2 and always chasing #1. Don't need that much target.

It is my sincerest hope that the selection committee ranks Georgia ahead of Alabama Tuesday. Coach Saban would love it.
