Computers have Georgia ranked #1 over Alabama

That is according to the Massey computer composite polls.

Interestingly, more computers have Alabama ranked #1 ahead of Georgia (24-18). However 11 computers have Bama ranked outside of the top 5 while only two computers have UGA ranked outside of the top 5.

I’m not surprised. Common opponents both teams have fared very well against. It’s the big non conference game that makes the difference. Is not Bama’s fault but FSU is awful at this point and ND is looking better and better.

I’m not going to be surprised if Alabama is second and Georgia is #1 on Tuesday night. Their win at Notre Dame is the best win between the two teams and their win against Miss State is better than any conference win that Bama has.

Half the Alabama fans will argue that they should be #1. The other half will say that they're happy to be #2 so they don't get complacent. LSU fans will celebrate their victory.
