Fournette and Henry similiar backs. Bama had the OL, LSU will have one next year but this year was not near what Bama had on the line. Two diff offenses also.

It was smart to not make him run when he wasn't getting yards and choose the pass. Les didn't employ that tactic against Bama.

Yes we did but we did not make that work either. Missed like three screen passes and flats. Then just gave up on it.

Also note that LSU used the WR screens in the TT game but completely absent almost all year. They don't get a lot of yards but they make the defense cover sideline to sideline instead of OT to OT...

Concur. Spreading the field doesn't require the spread offense.
