So was Williams and Bama fans still cry about that. In fact, Hall and Brooks were both more highly rated than Mitchell and bowers. Maybe bama should’ve developed them. Anyway, what is more impactful, losing a QB or WR?

Don't cry to me because you keep asking Alabama fans to validate your win and get trolled in the process.

In case you didn't realize it, there aren't any asterisks on the scoreboard.

Kirby has done a fantastic job. Nothing else to say in that regard. I think Nick has 1 and a big maybe 2 more runs for Natty in him. Enjoy it UGA it’s a fun run. I have wonderful memories of going to National Championships with my family.

Just know that WHEN Kirby takes this title, he is also taking the title of Best Head Coach in CFB from your bitch boy Saban.

Kirby is a very good, probably great, coach. And at the moment, he has pulled the Georgia program slightly ahead of Bama. But the race is not over. And Kirby is many years of continued success away from being in the running for GOAT.

(Sorry for a logical, unemotional response; I know it is frowned on.)

Again, this entire thread is basically like a kid who traces something in a coloring book, then tries to compare how good the trace turned out vs the original.
Football is a sport, and the goal for each team is to win games. All programs desire to copy success because it’s rare to create it from nothing. It’s why so many coordinators are hired as head coaches from winning programs like Alabama. The new school or organization sees success and wants to copy it.

And like I said, Saban does the same thing as he needs to. Changing his offensive mindset to copy what other teams were doing shouldn’t be a slam on him. He adapts to the changing landscape by doing what others have been successful with but adding his process to it, which is more about discipline and attention to detail than anything else, and those were not concepts that Saban created out of thin air.

Criticizing Smart for doing what Saban and every other coach does or tries to do just sounds like sour grapes to me.

I'm not criticizing Kirby at all. He's done great things and there are probably 20+ schools that wish the coaches they hired from Saban could have done the same thing.

I ain't even mad. I like what I see.

But it's not my fault Georgia fans can't deal with the reality and want to pretend he's accomplished more than he really has.

"Because you can see it in the future for sure".

Actually accomplish things, then talk.

All this shows me is that Saban and Smart are good coaches that have built on good programs and seem to have staying power. And LSU is... well LSU, not to even be considered in the conversation.

Half the truth is often the greatest lie.

It starts out by not applying the context of the teams they took over. Kirby took over what was basically team that finished in the top10 year after year, had top10 recruiting classes, etc.

It quotes "SEC Record". Which is a bunch of bullshite because Georgia plays in the SEC East and Alabama plays in the SEC West. Those aren't really comparable records. The SEC West was fricking stacked hardcore in Saban's first 7 seasons.

It's just lacking context, aka half the truth.

The felony they were charged and convicted of after the LSU game has to mean something now that there is no championship this year.

But beating the sister wife, fines, and probation was worth it I guess.

Saban also came into Bama without having to deal with a coach on the scale of well Saban. Without Saban Kirby is on the verge of winning his third and potentially fourth natty depending on how the 2018 SECCG and playoffs went

Honestly I don’t fear Kirby. It’s the program itself that keeps on

Dude the west fricking sucked until 2011, before that all it was Saban and Les falling arse backwards into a natty
