I feel for true fans like you and some other bama fans who have to deal with dumbass band wagoners like that. Of course that comes with success so it's a trade off.

The bandwagon folks are who make Coleman loud so I don't complain much. It's the ones who only show up to bash the team in defeat that really piss me off. And the ones that say I've only watched two games this year, but Grant is no different than Gottfried. That really sets me off.

I don't really mean it like that. I mean if you're a fan of whatever school, I don't see how you can say you just don't give a shite about any of the big three sports. To me it means you're not a fan at all.

Vandy is a thorn in our side,and has been forever.I wanna beat them worse than KY. Having said that,we can compete with KY only if we play our best D,defend the 3 better than we did MS in the end,and make 3's. Everyone knows our history when it comes to making 3's though,we're either on,or we're off,no in between.

People that attend Alabama usually love the university and all our athletic programs. It's the sidewalk Alabama football fans that degrade our other programs.

It's such an odd phenomena that so many football only, sidewalk Alabama (seems LSU, Auburn ect as well) fans act so threatened by the mere presence of a basketball team.
That said, Alabama is no Kentucky--hardly any school is-- but there's a ton of hardcore fans that love and follow Alabama basketball win or lose.
Unfortunately, I suppose a lot of them are like me and live far away and can only see them play in person every once in a while like in the NIT final four last year.
