The strike zone has been large and inconsistent on both sides. Helps lsu with Skenes out there that’s for sure

Well, it's certainly relevant. The hitters have to adjust to the ump regardless of how terrible he may be.

Agree completely. It's more difficult when the ump is inconsistent like this guy is though.

I don’t think he’s inconsistent. He’s been wide, high, and generous on breaking balls to the outside. Been that way since the first inning for both teams
His zone isn’t the actual zone but it’s been pretty consistent IMO

Zone seems too wide to me. We’ve had a few that went our way but it feels like it’s favoring them at this point. Skenes is is ridiculously good, honestly liking our play so far.

We are playing better than I expected. They could still lose this game by several runs, but I'm glad they didn't roll over early.
