Actually in college I have always thought the ball should be placed at the 40 yard line. It gives the offense good field position but they still have to move the ball. The defense gets a bit of a break. The new system with the two point conversions is totally pathetic.

NFL OT totally sucks. They should play one full quarter and then if the game is tied it is sudden death after that. That way each team is going to get at least a couple of possessions. The current system is complete BS. The players are professionals and are in great physical condition so they could handle the extra playing time. Especially in playoff games, regular season is a different animal but in the playoffs, play a full fifth quarter. If somebody is ahead at the end of the fifth quarter, they win. If the game is tied, then it is sudden death after that.

Yea but the new alternating 2-pt attempts in College is awful as well. And I say this after Bama won the Iron Bowl in that situation

It really is. God I hope that gets changed.

Yep. Too bad the number 1 defense could not stop the chiefs from scoring in the final 13 seconds, also; the number one defense could not stop them from going 75 years and scoring a touchdown in overtime. Quit whining. If you want the other team to win, make a stop!

NFL OT rules are hot garbage.

Should be a flat ten minute quarter, highest score after ten minutes is winner or both teams start at 50 on offense, go from there like CFB (CFB needs to start at 50 imo also)

Except for the dueling 2pt conversion shite.

If NFL just guaranteed both teams a possession it would be the best.

Let Allen have the ball back and then they can go and try to win it with a 2 pt conversion - if they choose to just tie it up with a FG, next point wins.
