We have a bunch of white people who think the answer to race relations is to ignore race, or to even implement policies and legislation to favor non-whites, and a bunch of POC whose world revolves around their racial identity and the advancement of their people. They’re taking all the power they can get their hands on.
Combine this with the general attitude that America is up for grabs. “Come one come all.”

The problem with this country is the media. Since the mid 90's they have been promoting this split America. Why, because it's good for ratings and good for business. Why can you turn on your local news and get a fair reporting of the news, bit turn on the national news and get it one sided? Journalist should be like judges. They should report the news for what it is, not make it something it isn't. I voted for Trump, have been disappointed in the person that he is, but mostly happy with the policies he has put in place. He is an idiot when it comes to social messaging, but he did put this country in the best financial situation that it has seen in decades. Will I vote for him again? I can't say yes right now, but the alternative doesn't look good. Imagine how strong we could have been, had the entire country gotten behind him. As for peaceful protest from the likes of Kapernick, he had every right to protest and would probably gained a lot more respect and progress had he not chosen to kneel for the national anthem. Protest against the crooked police all you want, but kneeling for the anthem brought in a whole separate group of military people. That's why he didn't get the support he needed. I'm all for getting rid of crooked cops and changing laws that protect such lawlessness. To me, these protest are counter productive. I was mad as hell when I saw what happened to George Floyd, bit that quickly went away and I was even more mad when I watched our cities get burned to the ground. Obama was right when he called these people thugs many years ago, and Trump was right when he said it a couple of days ago.

I agree. People need to stop making bad decisions that prevent them from enjoying the opportunity this country affords its citizens. You should not blame "the country" because some people choose to make bad decisions.
