We just completed the 2024/2025 season. These rankings are from last offseason.

This is showing records from this past season and then uses that with other information. How is LSU, Texas A&M, Florida, and USCw ranked in the top 25? No way they are ranked from last year. I have posted from CBS.com that one was showing from last season. This site was using this past season plus other information for this coming season. Check the chart they set it up for the current ranking for this coming season. There will be more changes as it leads up to the first game of the season. There are two teams that are ranked right now that were not ranked this past season. Go check it out. Some of you really need to read more carefully.
Please go to On3.com to find this article or click on the link I provided. You will see that it showed different rating systems to determine the current ranking as I showed the current ranking. I didn't want to spend a lot of time trying to get the system formula they use to get this ranking as of right now for this coming season. This link will show you how On3 came up with this current rankings. That is why I said please check the link and you will get it. Summer of George does the formula from time to time. I am not going to spend a lot of my time copying the formula set up. It is too much work. Please check the link.

We just finished the 2024/25 college football season. The rankings are for the 2024/25 season. Yes....they are updated now that the season has come to an end. No.....they are not for next season.

Ole Miss is not projected as a top 10 team after losing nearly all of our best players.

How is Texas A&M ranked after losing 5 games? LSU is ranked 12 after losing 4 games. That doesn't add up! please wake up and look at the formula they use to set up for this coming season. Do you know what a project means? An estimate of what the record will be for this coming season.

Can you read the heading? Please stop! This doesn't make sense in the bowl game Illinois beat South Carolina and has a better record. They fell to number 23. While South Carolina went up to 14. That is silly! It is showing from this past season the final record to this current ranking for this coming season.

They’re going to hand LSU their 10th consecutive opening week loss.

LSU beat Ga. Southern in 2019 didn't they?

Arkansas will probably field a top 25 team but you won't know it because of our schedule, it's brutal.

Hot take - not one of these teams will finish ranked this high. LSU participates in the SEC Championship game next year.

Also, wherever Arkansas is they’re ranked too high.

I am surprised how Auburn has fallen so far behind. at 49. If you click on the link or go to On3 and it will show the formula how each team is ranked as it is right now.
Maybe the experts don't believe Freeze is the answer at Auburn.

This is not the onfield coach that had everyone so excited in Oxford. Freeze has gotten his head handed to him from much lesser programs at home. Instead of inspiring the troops on gameday he is taking losses and throwing his kids under the bus in the post-pressers. Freeze comes off as petty and immature as a leader and frankly, I'm surprised that has become his MO down at the barn.

I think this is an old article going back to preseason of 2024. Only way I see it. This was from On3. How the heck did I get the link from their site recently? It must have been for the 2024 preseason since it mentioned the upcoming 12 team college playoffs. I have no idea why it was on the On3 site recently. It should have mentioned it for preseason 2024/25 since it was leading up to the 12 team college playoffs.

Ohio st loses most of their team and both coordinators. They got nothing

I get it that are reigning champs but in football losing a bunch of starters and key play callers is huuuge Why wouldn’t that be accounted for ??
