It never clicked that your OC Collin Klein was the KSU QB Collin Klein. That dude was a really good QB, tough as nails.

Come on... stop flexing your big vocabulary. Your use of the word daft is so intimidating. What's the difference between daft and deft? I thought you might be able to assist me as one who is garrulous. Please stop being so silly clickety-clack.

you guys shite all over him so you’d think it was a good thing
90% of his play calls were fine, and many were really good. Problem was, he had a bad tendency to screw up short yardage situations at key times.

He would be one of two things: mind-numbingly predictable (read: RPO that was ALWAYS an off-center dive) or “cute” (eg: whatever that brain fart was at the 1 against SoCar late in the 4th). Same with the deep throw on 3rd and 2 early in the second half against Texas. Incredibly frustrating to watch.

He made very little use of slants, fades, perimeter runs, or planned QB keepers in these situations. Not “never”, but nowhere near enough to keep the defense guessing.

If he improves that area, his scheme and strategy are a solid offense. Very balanced.

Anyone criticizing Klein has not followed his offense. He is a great coach, and any true Longhorn fan knows this. He gave us fits when he ran Kansas' offense for two years.

You done pissed off Purple Kansas with this post.

But don’t be daft, it’s not good to lose your play caller going into the playoffs

OM lost a HC and gained their new HC before the other one made it out the building.

You don't hear OM crying..... wait, never mind.

I thought you guys would be jubilant. He didn’t seem to have a big fan club amongst the Ags.

A word need not be sesquipedalian to be considered part of a good vocabulary.

Clicked? Yes we knew who Colin Klein was when he sat next to Johnny Manziel in the Heisman ceremony back in 2012.

What I didn't know was that K-State would have a head coaching job open within the first couple of years after pulling Klein from his OC role there.

Klein had reportedly been looking around for HC jobs, but I'm glad it was K-State in the end rather than some other unrelated small school.
