They'll get a proper arse whipping from those Mississippi and Louisiana boys.

If so, it will be the first Mississippi induced arse whipping since we have been in the SEC.

Not that it matters.

Sumlin cannot be considered a better Coach than Mullen until he's been around the SEC West a little longer & proves it. I think Mullen deserves more credit for the FL NC's than Urban Meyer because you saw what happened when Mullen left... Florida wasn't nearly as good.

Mullen will have early success with the pre-planned plays and then go conservative out of fear of his team making a big mistake. A&M will open up the offense and start scoring regularly after being shut down initially. Much like the Arkansas game.

Arkansas has very little talent on defense and was able to contain the Ag offense for the most of the game. Scary to think what Juicy Geoff's psycho defense will be capable of.

Arkansas is ranked 76th and you are 74th and Arkansas has played a tougher schedule against three teams that are way better than LSU offensively.

Overall, their defense is better than yours and we put up 35 points in a poor effort on our part.

When LSU recovered the Dak fumble for a TD to open the second half we could have folded under pressure but we answered the challenge. It is my hope that this is a new trend.
The play calling after that disaster was some of the best I have seen from Mullen.

You were so close to losing a game you controlled from the opening snap. Mullen's decision to take the foot off the gas was almost disastrous.

14 of their points came off turnovers. Quit acting like LSU marched up and down the field all game. We smothered them all game.

People don't realize Geoff has been hoarding juice points (mana) for his game time spells.

Senior Nick Griffin carried the ball four straight times and picked up a total of seven yards. He needed one yard on fourth down from the 3-yard line to extend the drive. Instead he lost two.

"That was probably a mistake. I learned that right now," Mullen said. "The game was not – especially there, on the road, in that environment against that talented team—obviously the game was not out of reach at the point and I should have left our ones in."

Sounds like he'll be ready for A&M. Not sure what you're problem is.

That wasn't bad play calling, it was equivalent to taking a knee with a big lead and less than 4 minutes left.

In hindsight, it wasn't the right decision, but several bad/lucky things had to happen to help LSU catch up and they all did but the last one.
