Damn I don’t think Florida fans have been this happy and content in a long time. I bet Sumarall pays for nothing right now in the state of Florida.

I doubt Golden or Sully pay for much either around town. We have had to deal with a ton of coaches we did not like recently. From Napier, to Mullen, to Mike White. It has not been fun lately. Not Aggies terrible(our whole lives), but bad.

It looks like you guys made a huge steal at the end of last season. I think Sumarall was set to go to Auburn until the AD at Auburn completely screwed up the deal and that allowed Florida to swoop in and get him.

They were that shite team last year. Give them a little credit where it is due. Not having Sunbelt Billy on the sideline looking like a deer in the headlights is an automatic improvement.

We have had 4 of the worst and/or unserious SEC coaches in modern history..consecutively.
We simply wanted, needed and deserved a coach that was serious about building an overall football program.
BTW before the Mullen fans come with their capes on tight, running a program is more than calling plays. He had the program in a nosedive too.

Sunbelt Billy just looked lost every week when he was at Florida. You folks in Florida has been starving to death for a competent football coach. I think you guys may have a good coach. Time will tell.

Sumrall looks solid and will get a lot of talent and hopefully break the stranglehold Miami has on the state currently

I can tell you that Jon gives more than he gets. He had a wall of Bourbon in a converted garage at his house in Troy and he asked what everyone wanted and I hadn’t had Pappy before. He took the bottle down and poured at least 3 fingers. That was very generous.
