What knuckledragger downvotes such a common sense statement as this? Democracy works best when as many people are invested and involved as possible.
I didn't downvote it but that is an illogical and foolish statement. If more people are voting for the wrong people then it isn't a good thing.

Who determines who the "wrong" people" are? You?
So, if the majority of people vote for someone that you feel is "wrong" then that's not a good thing in your eyes? It's just not a good thing to you. It's healthy for democracy though.
I wouldn't expect you to understand though.

As long as they educate themselves on the topics, this is a great thing.

Which I agree it is rare which is precisely what I said in my first post. One can be against defunding the Police and not villanizing all Police Officers, which I refuse to do, and getting rid of Bad Cops who break the law. Do people realize it is a Both/and not either/or.

Most times its hard to "spot" a bad cop until they've done the deed.

So get rid of them
Once they do it, not put them in paid leave and maintain their pensions.

One team. One heartbeat. One political party.

No clue how it got to that point,
Government corruption has turned away honest citizens who would govern for the people instead of lining their own pockets.

I don't see getting rid of the "bad cops" as a partisan issue. I can support the Police and not fall into the trap that some are doing and villanize "all Police" (which I refuse to do) and at the same time support those who want to reform and be able to get rid of rogue cops.
The issue is getting rid of the "bad cops" would mean the rest losing protection from the FOP and the courts through qualified immunity. The good cops would rather not be the office snitch that gets everybody exposed.

But you did elect a Fake, Pedophile, Serial Liar, Business cheat, Racist, and overall Narcissist for President...so who really won? But all of those great qualities you defend proudly! It’s really a sad!

I’m sure it’s not all about money! Most Republican are not in the Financial range to even realize any personal benefit...

That isn't true in the least.
Most people take a passive approach and believe the system will take care of the bad cop and it usually does.
This whole "silence is violence" stance that some are taking is asinine.

Which is why using the technology we have today to require Body cams is the way to go. It protects the good Police officers and thus doesn't force the Police to cover for bad cops. It hold everyone accountable without requiring "snitches" .

It’s clear you only watch Fox News because the videos are online, and it’s clear what happened and why the protestors were forced away.

Nope. Over 70% of African-Americans were voting Democrat by the 1930's due to their support for the New Deal. Harry Truman's stands for civil rights such as desegregating the military further solidified their support and began the move of Southern White voters away from the party. It was the association of civil rights legislation with John F Kennedy and Lyndon Banes Jonson that solidified Black loyalty to the Democratic Party for good. JFK proposed and LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which outlawed public discrimination. LBJs Republican opponent, Barry Goldwater, opposed it garnering Johnson 94% of the black vote that year. Don't expose your ignorance by trying speak on historical topics you clearly know nothin
This. The states southern states that were blue the previous cycle all went red that year.

I actually dont watch Fox at all but funny how you just go along with the regular talking points.
I know they were forced away for Trump's corny photo op but the Secret Service is allowed to clear whatever space it deems necessary to protect the President and they also were given three warnings but chose not to comply.
The curfew was also about to go into effect and the police made it known that the area would be off limits to protect the perimeter and the church.
Sorry none of that fits your narrative.

Vote only counts if you live in one of swing states. Winners are predetermined in red or blue states.
