This years Bama team isn’t as good on the relative scale of Bama over the last decade plus. I think there is objective observation and data to support that.
No one is saying they aren’t good, just not as good in comparison.

Here you go! These teams should be ranked ahead of Alabama. Bama should have 3 losses.
Ga, Oregon, Ohio St, Michigan, Michigan St, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Baylor. I tried to be fair to Alabama, so I didn't include Cincinnati or Notre Dame because they're way overrated, any team in the top ten could beat them. Aub should get honorable mention among the top ten temas that would take out Alabama.
