So would you take away Saban's 09 nc with Shula's players?

That's why I always laugh when someone says that. Miles only won because he had Saban's players, but Bama only won because they had Saban.
Yes he is a great coach, but too many people slobber his knob too much

Pretty damn impressive, although if you take out last year and the NC run in 07 its not nearly as impressive (still good though)

If you take out 2008 and 2009 it's a lot more impressive

Knucklehead Ryan could have probably made 17-9 a better 21-5 or so.

Also, it's hilarious that the Miles = Coker people have now moved on to say Miles = Fulmer. fricking ridiculous.

If this is really the case then why do you believe this?

put miles at Bama and he'll go 19-81

Look at the Landon Collins flip. Alabama may not have as much talent as LSU in it's backyard, but it has plenty as well as the history and national appeal to get any recruit it wants.

Until LSU loses a game. Then the other side of your brain kicks in, amirite?

:See the TR the week after UF as example.

Edit for: He actually is a damn good coach and you people should be proud of what he has done for you.

Les should send Saban part of his bonus each year.

Unfortunate that the #18 sent people over the edge but oh well, looking forward to the next 100.

Remind me again why LSU fans are so tough on LM?

That is pretty freaking amazing considering how rough the SEC is.

17 seasons is a looong time. Hopefully when CLM gets a little tired of it he'll know when to step down and have a graceful exit. Fulmers 1st 13 years were pretty good, his last 4 UT lost 21.

How many of those wins were made possible by Saban's recruits?

Because his SEC record at LSU is not as impressive lots of OOC fluff in those 81 wins. He went 3-5 in 08 and a coach in his 4th year at LSU should never have a losing conference record.
