honestly Saban had the worst clock management in the game

End of the first half was not good at all. Pretty pathetic. Call a fricking timeout.

You call back-to-back plays with the first play being an isolation crossing route along the back of the end zone. You immediately get to the line and fun your second play with Bama out of position.

Instead the first play was a flood to the right side and the fade attempt to the endzone was tipped and happened to land in the decoy TE's hands. Just a crazy play. Couldn't have possibly been predicted.

Wasn't a fade route. It was a back shoulder. TE should not have been angled more upfield than he was. Again, richt put his own team in panic mode. He paid the price for doing so.

Anyone see the look Coach Saban gave the ST coach (I assume that who it was) after fake kick delay of game penalty? That and the blocked FG returned for TD probably means there will be an opening on the staff.

I fricking hope so. Our punt returning has been retarded also. Jones catches it off the bounce more often than not. It's backfired multiple times. It's fricking ridiculous.

It is obviously not the blunder of all blunders. I just think that the best call is to clock it immediately. If you do you might get 3 shots at the endzone instead of only 2. Would have been close but probably worth the effort.

As it was played, had the ball not been tipped but went incomplete then they likely only get one more shot.

Oh, and why does this have anything to do with Miles? It doesn't.

I've noticed the most vicious people on here lambasting Richt have been LSU fans.

No you don't. I would have easily squeezed 3 back to back plays at you in those 15 seconds, instead of Richt's 1 botched play.

I think you are being absurd to say LSU fans are trying to mask some bad coaching regarding time management. We all know Miles is a moron when it comes to decisions involving a clock. I merely think LSU fans are taking Richt to task because it is indeed Richt's fault for not having Murray clock the ball.

The extreme passion LSU fans are injecting into this debate is however, due their greater desire to have seen Georgia win than Alabama. Well, that is the way I see it and certainly what I wanted as well!

It is my take that the vicious fans (no matter what team the pull for) should simply be ignored.

I often don't get involved in threads due to the ridiculous comments made.

Not really. I did it in my prior employment. Pretty simple to do if you prepare your team and don't put them in a position to make stupid mistakes, like going blank and catching the ball inbounds with no timeouts, due to poor clock management..

Bama wasn't going to "catch their wind" in the time it took for me to say, " unless you are in the end zone, do not catch the ball! Period!"

Ga easily could have caught Bama out of position on their second, and possibly third play.

a fade to the endzone isn't exactly a high percentage play in the first place.

Should have targeted the middle IMO

Watch the last play again. The TE on the left side got his LB on his outside shoulder with the safety breaking away (to the ball) . There was 8 -10 feet between the TE and safety. A simple inside pivot would have gotten the 6
