So what!!! When was the last time a team from the SEC ran the table for a title? You don’t have to go undefeated. They are good enough to beat everybody they play on a consistent basis. Beating Bama was no fluke.

No, but put them in the SEC West and could they get out of there without 2 losses every year?
Let them try on A&M's schedule playing Auburn Bama and Aggy early at home, then finishing at Baton Rouge and Athens and to get into the playoffs probably playing UGA again.
Not happening. They'd get beat up.

Be careful with that head to head record. Most of those were from ACC teams beating SEC teams in bowl games and SEC teams don’t care about bowl games if they aren’t in the playoffs.

So you mean Clemson could not even win its division and still make the playoffs if they join the SEC? Huzzah!
But they don’t.

Alabama had no trouble getting through an SEC West schedule, what makes you think Clemson would?

If Clemson continues their run then ya. The committee gave Bama the benefit of the doubt in 2017 and were proven right. Clemson just has to replicate Bama's success.

LOL...Bama's average margin of win last year was 33 points.
Don't you miss the good old days when people used to say that Clemson or any ACC team could not take on a SEC team in the playoffs because their schedules were weak and when they played a "real" team they would get beat...Well now the narrative is different. Now it's the SEC teams are beat up by the playoffs while ACC teams are rested...Unless you are beating people by 33 points. If your team is gasses with those kind of blowouts then you have piss poor S&C or your are stat packing.
