Good thing Daddy LSU was there to clean up the Gumps' mess or people would be claiming that Clemson is a dynasty

In fairness, if they win the national title next year, which is very possible, they'll have won 3 in 5 years. I don't think you could avoid calling that a dynasty of sorts.

Yeah I don't think Clemson is going away anytime soon.

Nah.

Dynasties are not interrupted, or in this case, absolutely shite on.

Dynasty teams also do not play the role of the underdog, which we all know Clemson lives for.

Clemson plays literally no one again. Sure they play Notre Dame, but even UGA can beat them.

Clemson will be undefeated again next year thanks to that pathetic arse conference.

would you consider the LSU baseball teams of 91-2000 a dynasty? There was one b2b title in that run and multiple years where they failed to make it to Omaha. Clemson will very likely make the CFP for the 6th straight year next year, and if they win, they will have won 3/5 and played in the national title game in 5/6. That would be one of the more impressive runs in college football history, and it doesn't take away anything from what LSU did this year so why does it matter to admit the obvious

Holy apples to oranges.

Back to my original statement - dynasty teams don't play the role of underdogs.

...or squeak by teams like UNC who decided to run the option to the short side of the field on a 2-pt conversion to win the game.

Clemson is a great team and a great program.

They're not a dynasty.

how so? Does the definition of how often you need to win a national title change because the sport is different? But seeing how you completely dodged the question, I think I have my answer.

Or maybe you can provide me a long list of more impressive runs in college football history if Clemson were to win next year. That should be easy right?

only Dabo calls or has called Clemson an actual underdog in the true sense of the word. The media was pretty split on the game this year and no one was digging their heels in on either school. It was nothing more than a slight edge, and that's what you'd expect in a national title game with two undefeated teams

If they win a national title next year, only you will hold that opinion

Stopping Clemson’s dynasty claim is the reason I was pulling for LSU. However, but for Alabama, Clemson would have already won 4 national championships in a row. It’s about time someone else in the SEC pulled their weight for a change.

44-16 overshadows any win that Alabama had over Clemson.

That was an utter embarrassment to your program and conference.

The worst part is..you know it,too.

Have no fear, Daddy is here.
