It's the ACC...they have to play VT and that's about it this year. Beat aTm and they are in the playoffs

USCe is probably the toughest, but last year taught us that Syracuse is the worst match up for Clemson. That schedule is embarrassing.

I don't know how Dabo can do it straight face. He will talk up teams like BC or Wake and compare them to top 10 teams.

When you know you’ll cake walk through a schedule like that you just start making stuff up about other teams. You don’t even care, because you know you’ll win the conference easily and can say and do whatever you want.

Actually they don't even have to play them either unless they meet in
ACC championship. Looks like the 2 SEC teams are easily their toughest games on the schedule.

kind of like teams like LSU and Miss State get talked up every season early on because they are in the SEC then it turns out they are mediocre.
Bama basically never plays a team that can pass the ball in the regular season due to SEC lack of offense in recent years.

rankings aren't based on one week of games.
Just the fact you are hyping up SC shows your SEC homerism. Clemson has stomped SC the past few years. If SC wasn't in the SEC, nobody would be talking about them being ranked.

OK, but after week one in 2018, SEC qb's graded out the best, doesn't mean they will finish that way once they start facing SEC defenses, but they do great against other conference defenses. Clearly there is a lot of qb stat padding in the defenseless conferences, especially the Big 12.

Clemson Va Tech and Miami are already ranked. You don't think there is even one out of the other 11 ACC teams could be ranked this season?

VT is probalby the favorite to win that division so Clemson could face them.
