SC was dealing with tons of injuries for App State.
Maybe our players just don't put out like Clemsons. Right or wrong?
I watched some of that game. Talent wise there was little difference between those two teams on the field. App State is a good team, but UofSC is not the 21st most talented roster. The rankings don’t auto adjust for actual performance... if you signed overrated kids to begin with it doesn’t adjust after the fact... see FSU’s ranking of 6th most talented roster as Exhibit A.

#9 vs #21 is only a couple of players. A fumble or, as TL is prone to do, a interception can change the whole game. Plus you're playing in the COCKPIT not your regular acc stadium.

It’s cool that you believe that. It won’t be close in the second half. 42-14 type of game with a touchdown for Muschamp in garbage time during the third quarter.

That’s a joke right. He lairs is good, but etienne is just on another level for being a pure runner. Etienne doesn’t catch or block very well, but he’s a top 3 back in the country

I’m sure this team, that has played on a national stage for several years will be intimidated playing in billy Brice. South Carolina is about equal to an average ACC team in talent and performance. Based on your recent losing streak to ACC teams, I’m giving you the balance of doubt here, some may argue that you aren’t even that good. Just because you play in a conference with Alabama doesn’t mean South Carolina got gold dust blown up your a-hole and magically became a great team. You will get hammered on Saturday.

Clyde fits this offense so well. One of those times we were upset about not getting a player and it turns out we had just what we needed all along

Like I said the talent level between the two teams are pretty close a play here or there could be the difference. At least we are playing the acc version of the tigers and not the LSU version.

Clemson offered him as a S. Same with Joyner. Both would have come to Clemson if they had let them choose their positions.
Pickens is the only player I can think of in the last few years that has picked UofSC over Clemson with equal offers.
