Gt HC should have skipped that BK coaching clinic and had a STs practice.

How many programs play two P5 teams (two SEC teams most seasons) or a P5 and ND out of conference every season?

That doesn't matter when your conference opponents are absolute dogshit every year.

Clemson lost to Pitt at home the first year Clemson beat Alabama. CLemson had a ton of close calls that year including NCSU and Lousville in Clemson.
The playoff committee thinks Clemson schedule is strong if Clemson made it 6 years in a row. You most likely don't watch ACC games anyway

I hope south Carolina beats them

Sec Fanbois don't decide schedule strength tho
ya'll say SEC schedule is tough but Alabama usually rolls thru it no issue, usually win by wider margins than Clemson in ACC
I think ACC has a better crop of QBs right now

'Bama SOS during the same time period:

2020 - #2

And that's including the playoff games against Ohio St and the title game against LSU. Their "toughest" opponent before then was CFP #24 Virginia in Charlotte.

Obviously. That doesn't mean it can't be observed.
And the playoff committee decided Cincy's non-p5 schedule was tough enough, as well. They aren't exactly infallible.

I don't have a problem with committee leaving Clemson out if they think the schedule sucks
I can't think of any SEC team that I think was guaranteed to beat Clemson the past few years if they had played

Well fortunately for Clemson the ACC is a P5 conference and an undefeated P5 conference champ won't be left out.

Clemson has made it with 1 ACC loss at least twice.
Was the 1 seed the Kelly Bryant year despite loss to Syracuse who didn't finish season strong. That was a rebuilding year
I doubt Clemson will make playoffs this year, O line doesn't look strong and too many good QBs in ACC , plus play at ND

You weren't going to beat 2019 LSU.

I think Clemson could have beat them, especially in Clemson. Always have a chance with Lawrence and ETN. If i'm not mistaken, Clemson got LSU at full strength on defense, they had injuries during regular season
ya'll got a home game in the title game
If Clemson had lost to LSU in regular season, not likely to be kept out of playoffs if had no other loss
THis 12 team playoff is probably going to mean a guaranteed playoff spot every year for Clemson unless they hire a really bad coach at some point

how is 2021 related to my comment?
I can't think of any SEC team this season that I think is guaranteed to go undefeated or only 1 loss against Clemson's schedule.
