Apparently Lindsey Graham (U.S. Senator) will get involved to see if there's anything he can do to have the game played. Unfortunately, I don't think anything will happen but at least both schools are making some last ditch efforts to try and reverse this decision.

SEC should have had the "plus one." I know Sankey is in a tough place, but this wasn't thought out very well.

Agreed. Nothing will happen I'm sure.

Fine with it not being played, helps CU more than it does SC adding legitimacy to their weak and pathetic ACC schedule.

No offense, but adding USC isn’t any better than their ACC schedule. And of course it helps them more because they’ll win that game

Wouldn't it be funny if Clempson rallies to save thing game and the gamecocks pull the upset in the fake death valley.

A plus one with an instate or mile from campus radius condition.

Carolina and Clempson are 2 hours (and worlds apart) from each other. No reason from them not to play.

We're a big part of the weak and pathetic schedule right now. Can't help South Carolina is a dumpster fire.

This X10000000000.

Why SEC teams keep scheduling them is beyond me. They don't get the Etienne's or Lawrence's from Louisiana and Georgia if not for the promise of an easy practice like schedule with national exposure in a couple BIG SEC games a year with totally fresh legs.

They are desperate here to get us back for this season. Frick them.

Over the past 5 seasons U6Cjr is 2-7 vs the ACC. Yes 5 of those are Big Brother wins, so that makes you .500 with other ACC teams (and bad ones at that). Plus those two wins were within 1 TD (meaning the teams were likely evenly matched and I am sure your fan base was complaining the entire game, saying Fire Ray Tanner).

What gives you the impression you would even have a chance in the lowly ACC? The golden years with Jadaveon have been over a long time. Let me remind you, U6Cjr is closer to Vanderbilt than they are LSU.

Of course Clemson wants this game played. The only thing that's keeping them from whipping our arse for a 7th straight season is a pandemic. You better believe Tanner and Boom are secretly elated about not having to play Clemson.

Don't see why you need to have NCAA or Sec approval if really want to play an instate game.

Play it.

Shouldn't Lindsay Graham be worried about this next stimulus package that Bitch McConnell and his cronies have hung up and stalled while good Americans suffer needlessly?

ACC football ratings are in the gutter compared to the SEC and big 10, Georgia tech can’t fill up their stadium unless they play Clemson or UGA at home. With that pussy arse rule put in place by their commissioner by having to play an OOC game in their home state, I’m glad the SEC said no. The ACC can schedule more internal matchups with duke and wake forest while nobody watches except their own alumni douchbags while wearing Anne Taylor woman’s shorts, school polo, and croakies.
