This is one of the weakest drafts in history. Banks will never make it. Seriously, dude sucks.

Ole CJ's just worried that Banks' NFL signing bonus might even be more than he got to sign with OM.

It seems you're still bitter about that.

There is nothing weak about this draft,it's just not as flashy as recent years.

It's weak at QB this year. Especially compared to last year.

Based on what?

OM fans that are saying this based on what happened in 1 Egg Bowl truly do not know anything about football -- and less than nothing about Banks or what they actually saw in the game...

I know Moncreif burned him twice in the Egg Bowl and he got burned more than once in the Bama game. I don't give a shite what he did against Troy.

Mosely burned him too. Engie, people are just messing. They know he is good. That's great. He's a good kid. If we had an award winner get torched against y'all and other good competition y'all would be doing the same. That help?

He was "burned" once in true man coverage in the Egg Bowl -- by Moncrief. That was the only time he was beaten deep in straight man coverage in his career that I recall.

The other plays were underneath coverage with safety help over the top. What happens when the safety help doesn't arrive? The corner looks like an idiot even though it isn't really his fault. That's what we saw twice in the Egg Bowl and once in the Bama game. The other time in the Bama game was zone coverage and Cam Lawrence missed his man. I'm all for talking the smack when it's deserved... but in this case, most of what happened was on Nickoe Whitley much moreso than Banks.

Everyone should be cussing Whitley for being a moron all year this year -- and the single most disappointing MSU player in recent memory relative to expectations. We'd all be joining and agreeing with you on that one...

Bama torched the clown. Your recollection sucks worse than his coverage skills against teams not from the Sun Belt

You know nothing about football -- but then again, that surprises no one either.

Funny that I've yet to see any Bama fans make the claims you do -- but that's probably because most of them understand what they are actually watching on the field.

OM ever had a Jim Thorpe award winner? Can't remember. So Mongrief scores a TD on Banks one time. That's a fricking Super Bowl in itself.

That's because there are no Bama fans in this thread. Not to mention the fact they've got the better corner in Millner.

Moncreif burned him on the first drive of the game. Bo under threw him and Moncreif out jumped Banks or about a 40 yard play. I know he burned Banks to score in the second half where you were in cover 1, Moncreif beat Banks and Bo fit it in before the safety got there. Moncreif then went on to burn everyone else you threw at him the rest if the game. I remember laughing twice when Bama scored on bombs and banks was 3 yards behind faking a cramp.
