Because Alabama isn’t sticking completely with the run. If they did, it would be. Pretty obvious that Cincinnati can’t stop any running plays until the back gets 7 yards per carry.

You can’t stick completely with the run unless you think we are playing football of the early 2000s.
Once it was considered totally okay to punt the ball. There is a reason Saban went away from that philosophy.
Cincy follows up any of the subsequent drives like they did their first one and Bama is on the ropes right now. Bamas defense has tightened down but you don’t bet on that in this day and age.

Their defense has played decent at times but it's about to have 100+ plays ran on it. It will get ugly pretty quick but I bet Saban doesn't let it get too out of hand.
