So a 1000 yard season is comparable to a 1500 yard season? Not a very fair comparison for either one. Kind of makes your boy look worse than he is doesn't it?

Chubb undeniably had the better freshman campaign
I wouldn't use the word "undeniably", but Chubb did have the better freshman campaign in my opinion. Started 8 games and ran for 145 yards in every single one of them. I would have said undeniably if all other things were equal, but we did have a better offensive line and QB than LSU last year.

LF came on very strong at the end and showed great improvement. Going to be interesting to see who has the better year between him and Chubb. Should be very close
Dead on. His vision will get much better this year. He didn't need it as much at the high school level because he could physically manhandle everybody. Chubb could do the same, but he also was able to learn from Gurley who may have had the best vision in CFB along with Melvin Gordon last year.
Eta: The only thing that worries me about LF is his two really good games came against A&M and ND, two below average run defenses. I think his games had more to do with profession, than the other teams' struggles, but it is a cause for concern (even if very minimal).

That's a fair assessment. Miles will hold Fournette's production back a little but he showed lots of improvement the last few games. He could end up being great.

Are we comparing the players or the season they had last year? I thought it was the former.

Comparing their freshman season is retarded. Chubb was by far the better back over the course of the season. The comparison may be a better one this time next year.

Yeah I did but I quoted it after the fact and said that post was solid.

That was a helluva run.

If he'd channeled H.W. a little more last season, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Fournette was not a top 5 back in the SEC last season. At the end of the regular season he was ranked 13th in rushing yards in the conference. After the bowl game I believe he was ranked 7th. A very good back, but not top 5.
I thought you meant for next season. This season's top 5 in some order as of now is Chubb, Williams, Collins, LF, and Henry. I could argue Fournette was better than CAP and Robinson last year based on avg, surrounding personnel, and scheme, but it would be close.

I was going with what LF has actually done. As to what he might do next season, I'm guessing he'll have a great year.
I think it's been pretty firmly established that he does have potential.

Even Jeremy Hill was boom or bust in 2013.

Nah, you just have to worry about Coker and Bama.

Chubb> Fournette
Other than Fournette running over the A&M guy I was never that impressed. Chubb looked like a man from day one.
He did run over a UF guy as well and flew in the same game.

STFU, LF's BEST rushing game was below Chubbs average as a starter
