That Auburn D is feared. They held McElroy to only slightly over 300 yards passing in one half.

6 passes in the 2nd half after 300 yards passing in the 1st.

Yeah no, playcalling had nothing to do with it

Auburn fans if you could only keep one, which would you choose?

I say we keep Chizik. Gus' offense is gimmicky and SEC defenses are going to rip it to shreds. Oh, wait...

Chiziks defense slammed the door on Bama

Nick Saban deserves an assist on that.

All we've heard about is Chiz's mastery of defensive backs...two Thorpe Award winners, etc. Now he's the D Line coach, but is NOT responsible for secondary play?

Chizik, Gus didn't assemble this staff. I'd miss Gus though.

What if Gus goes somewhere and disassembles the staff? Trooper might like Miami...A LOT.

Who would the Auburn fans rather Alabama keep? McElwain or Saban?

We are likely to lose some staff members this year but not all. Chizik will assemble another top notch staff I have no doubt, will it be as good as this one? doubtful but it will still be very good.

EDIT: Why would Trooper leave? I mean according to people on this site he's a bag man and scum that is going to land us on probation what school would want that? Sorry had to do that considering the idiotic posts at times.

I know Chiz can build a staff around a good core like Ted Roof.

rocker is the best DL coach in the nation IMO. look at the players he has coached.

Osi Umenyiora- Troy St
Marcus Spriggs- Troy St
Al Lucas (D-2 defensive player of year)- Troy St
Demarcus Ware- Troy St
Jamaal Anderson- Arkansas
Keith Jackson- Arkansas
Peria Jerry- Ole Miss
Greg Hardy- Ole Miss
Nick Fairley- Auburn

he was not only one of the best DL ever, he is quickly becoming one of the top DL coaches in the nation

Think of this.....MIAMI

Trooper and Miami would be like peanut butter and illegally funneled cash. Michael Irvin would be a staple at Trooper's place on South Beach, the agents are already throwing parties, this is a good fit, IMHO.
