In Auburn, seasons considered outliers are those seasons where mediocrity is the order of the day, while the one season that is completely different than all others on a resume is what one can expect any given year. It is a unique take on statistics and one I'm interested to see pan out.

I agree, Chizik seems like the real deal, and that's unfortunate for us LSU fans--the Western Division is brutal. Jury is still out though; I think the next few years will tell us all whether he was just the beneficiary of Cam Newton or legitimate.
