The Cajun Navy is very well known.

They do enough good to offset many of us who physically can't do much good other than to pray for our brothers and sisters.

I mean when the Tornado hit tuscaloosa in 2011, I think I made a joke about it. Something like the $$$$ of improvements it made to the city and then Saban signing the twister to play defensive end for the tide.

In Oklahoma... we are so used to tornado jokes nobody bats an eye...

Much less ice storm jokes..

We get places that get slammd with this type of ice storm two or three times a decade. .

I imagine Mississippi folks aren't used to anything like this...

But Mississippians be prepared for the whirring of chain saws and a whole bunch of limbs and parts of trees to be piled up on the side of the road soon. That is what happens next.

Fortunately, trees do a pretty good job of rebounding. So hopefully the Grove will be okay.
