OP is correct.
Bama needed the refs to beat lil ol mizzou this year and mizzou as we all know is terrible and not even a SEC school that should just shut down the program.

- games before Alabama: Central Arkansas bears (3-9), Kansas (5-7), Louisiana (6-6), SCAR (4-8), UMASS (0-12)
- Bye week
- All 5 of the above mentioned games plus Alabama were @ home.

Clemson made it last season with three regular season losses. Our third loss didn't come until a conference title game. Bama isn't a good team but made the SEC CG and the playoffs and anyone who would be shocked should they see Bama in the national title game...against UGA again...has simply no concept of college football. Alabama may not make it past OU but it is just as likely that they make it to the natty....pretty impressive for a team that is not good.....
