I was way, way wrong about Chad Morris. I really thought he'd do a nice job at UA

He is a Gus clone without Auburn talent.

Look at this fricking idiot talking about 'championship pay'... do you realize the whole country laughs in amazement at aTm's spend with consistently mediocre results?

We've been a trainwreck since Jeff who should die Long fired Petrino, but at least we've known it...

you need to talk to alot of your fans then because they were willing to fire your coach with less games than that.
Already have. To no avail. I would be surprised if Joe is fired though.

Probably but Chad and Joe are on way different levels of bad for their respective schools.

No offense, but an Aggy just turned our program in to the worst football program in America. No hog fans care what any other Aggy thinks.

Besides, you guys like male cheerleaders.

Yeah, get someone that is a champ willing to go to a school that fires a guy after 22 games? There aren't that many Chris Kliemens out there.

Knock yourself out. You are going to save it for 5 years because that's how long before either you prove right or I am proven right? I seem to remember Arkansas fans were pretty excited to get Chad Morris. I am sure y'all will be excited about your next face plant guy - early on anyway.

Sorry but this has been said before and really isn't true. Did Arkansas fans try to sail or troll the board about it? Sure but Chad was like the 4th or 5th coach for most people when the search started. Obviously fans are going to be optimistic about most things around their program but Chad was not an exciting option to most fans when the search started.

I don't see arkansas winning less than 2 games a year. Pretty sure the next coach could beat san jose state and western kentucky.

I don't have a dog in this fight but why are y'all acting like you know more about Arkansas' program than their own people do?

He just mad because his aTM deadbeat 75million coach barely beat Chad Morris by only 4 points, when everyone else has been stomping a mud hole in our team. I guess I’d be disappointed too!

This. A substantial portion of Arkansas fans were never sold on his hiring.

He isn't looking for a head coaching job.

Bielema Waiver and Release Agreement pdf - Duty of Mitigation start on page 4
He doesn't appear to have to be looking for a head coaching job. It says "obtain other employment." Then he has to let them know about his other employment and his "total Other Income."

Further down there is talk about him maximizing his earning potential with new employers consistent with compensation rates for similar position in a given industry.

Now he comes the potential arguments. What's to say that working as a lower-level employee for a team looking poised to make another deep playoff run ISN'T maximizing his earning potential? There is only so many hiring possibilities and image rehabilitation takes time; he could be a head coaching candidate next offseason.

Also, what was the average salary for someone being a defensive line coach in 2018/2019? Notice I didn't put in ANY qualifiers as to what level they are coaching at; similar to the plain language of the contract. Not saying that's right but that it's a possible argument that could be made.

Maybe Bret will win, maybe he has to pay Arkansas back; hell , maybe they come to some agreement and end it early with a negotiated settlement like Les Miles did with LSU.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens. But I still think the optics of the situation aren't exactly favorable for Arkansas.

So you will be happy with the next coach averaging 3 wins per year? Then you're right. I concede.

No one really wants Stoops gone I don't think. They just want Gran to quit being a tard in critical moments. Still done good for having no QB most of the season
