Alabama would have made a 12 team tournament this year.
I think they likely win that first round game, which might have made for an interesting 2nd round.
Presuming the ranking remain unchanged from the end of the regular season, Alabama would have played Washington and then I presume Ohio State?

Those Alabama and Clemson teams would have CLOWNED anyone else in a 12 team playoff. The 12 team playoff will be fun for those random mid-seed matchups it creates in the 1st round, but in the end there are only ever 2-3 teams a year that can actually win the title.
It's just adding extra steps to arrive at the same conclusion.
Ehhh they were the best teams but anything can happen. They play the game for a reason. Not to mention that with expanded playoffs, more kids will see that you don't need to go to a blue blood to have a chance at playing on the biggest stage. That alone may produce more parity

This board keeps trashing him, but he has won 10 or more games every year since 2011.
In the ACC he has 10 wins before the 1st game is played

Oklahoma has at least 2 appearances.

Yeah, yeah. He's won the games that mattered, and UGA can't throw rocks in its glass schedule.

Would've been fun to see what Ohio State could've done in 2015 and 2018.

Wuuuut?
6 End of year top 25 teams played. Half our schedule currently rank after all the games played.

Exactly how would allowing more weak teams in promote parity?

The object is to get the two best teams, not get two different teams every year.

Well, that's the goal of fans of teams that don't like the two best teams.
They're not interested in the best teams playing, but rather having more chances for teams they dislike to lose.

True. And I get that. But if teams want to play in the championship they need to get better teams. I've never understood people saying they are tired of Team A or "B" playing in the CFP. Ok. Then beat them.
(Yes. I know it's easier said than done.)

It kills me when fans of lesser teams look at better teams and their takeaway is that those good teams shouldn't be so good rather than saying their team needs to get better. Not a philosophy for success.

Nope, just trying to shite on someone else's parade. TCU suggests you stay in the little league conference with them
