Absolutely.

Every SEC team in that top 25 would at the very least beat OSU and likely throttle them.
The Buckeyes are ging to waltz through a disgustingly easy schedule on the way to being the latest sacrificial lamb before the alter of whoever emerges from the SEC. They are Notre Dame with better QB play.

I sort of thought LSU would be ranked closer to 15 or so. I think 10 is generous. I think 15 or better is fair. LSU has the marquee games that if they are good enough, they will be where they need to be. Dawgs, Gumps, Gators, TAMU, and TCU will give LSU plenty of opportunities to show how good they are. I think a top 10 finish would be a successful season based on what we have coming back and our current question marks.

Clemson should be ahead of aTm.
Agreed, both Clemson and Oregon should be ahead of A&M until our defense shows they can be a decent unit again. A&M should start out 5-7 range IMO.
The thing about our team next year though is that our defense could be poor and we could still win 9-10 games with our schedule.

So much fail in this post. OSU will be a pretty good football team, and they are pretty much a shoe in for the title game due to their SOS

Top 10 finish for us would be good. Don't think we can make it through the schedule without a loss or two.
But Louisville at 5....
.... I know absolutely nothing about Louisville but I still think that's a April fools joke.

Guess our loss to them in the Sugar wasn't bad after all.

Exactly, UF played unmotivated football and took one on the chin.. Now people think Louisville is worth a crap

They return basically the same team that beat Cal by 7, UAB by 10, MSU by 1, Indiana by 3, Purdue by 7 in OT, Wisconsin by 7 in OT and Michigan by 5. Not one of those teams had fewer than 5 losses. They BARELY got by week after week against a pathetic schedule.

Which I stated in my post.

This thread has turned serious. For that I am happy. I just want to say for the record that if TAMU wanted to troll some more I would have said "shouldn't wind and that little girl from Captain Planet be rated above TAMU?"
In all seriousness, Louisville must be stopped.

They return the same team that went undefeated with a Heisman candidate running the show. I guess I just think they are going to be a pretty good team.

I wouldn't be surprised for an Ohio State media push landing them at #1. LSU was the "clear" preseason #1 until mid-summer and then USC ended up taking it. Not that any of this matters, that's just how the trend usually goes.
I also wouldn't be surprised to see Ole Miss land in the top 25. A great recruiting class got Alabama in the top 25 to start 2008.

Exactly. People for some reason now think Bridgewater's the new Cam Newton. The truth is, he was pretty terrible all last year until the Sugar Bowl. Louisville's going to take a step back; Florida a major step forward IMO. Last year's Florida reminded me so much of 2008 Alabama... I think this year could be 2009 Alabama

That list is obviously reactionary to bowl games.
My question is; why is LSU so high?
