He’s fast. Send him back to return kickoffs and he won’t last 4 games.

Y'all don't have much luck with receivers. The position seems cursed at Auburn.

Auburn has one of the best and deepest group of WRs in all of CFB.

-Ryan Davis, school record 84 catches last year
-Darius Slayton
-Nate Craig-Myers
-Eli Stove
-Will Hastings
-Marquis McClain
-Noah Igbinoghene

Incoming freshmen are 4* Matthew Hill, 4* Seth Hill, 4* Anthony Schwartz, and 3* Shedrick Jackson, Bo's beast of a nephew

For the class of 2020 we already have #51 overall player 6'5" George Pickens who will be a 5* by the time the season is through, and Ja'Varrius Johnson who is like a clone of Ryan Davis

We're loaded at WR now and for the foreseeable future. With Bo Nix also coming in at QB, you better get used to the idea of Auburn having an elite passing game too.

We had pretty good luck with Sammie Coates, Quan Bray, and Ricardo Louis too. You remember Ricardo Louis

He looks to be the second fastest CFB player.

This kid was offered a 3 year 7 figure deal to run track. Last I heard he wasn’t going to take it.

That kids time wasn't wind legal. And if he takes that deal then he won't be playing CFB anyway, so Schwartz is still the fastest regardless.

***!!!UPDATE!!!***

Schwartz got his first action yesterday against Alabama State. He played with the 1s the whole first half though, so expect to see him this weekend vs LSU opening up offense now that the coaches have seen they can trust him

3 catches, 67 yards, 1 TD (from 57 yards out)
3 carries, 50 yards, 1 TD

Anthony Schwartz has Olympic aspirations, but in the meantime, he's putting his world class speed to good use on the gridiron

quote:

The 6-foot, 180-pounder finished with 117 yards of total offense and a pair of touchdowns....

Schwartz hauled in three passes for 67 yards and a score and added another 50 yards and a touchdown on three carries.

quote:

"That was good for Anthony," receiver Ryan Davis said. "I told him if he don't score twice a game, it's his fault. I told him he sucks if he doesn't score twice. I told him he can't talk to me for a while, but he did that, so I was proud of him... I was just happy for him to see it for himself and to see him get that confidence moving forward like, 'yeah, I definitely could play here and I belong.' Him seeing that, he's not just a track guy; he's an athlete."

quote:

"He's really fast," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said.

Here's his two TDs, they really show off his speed

Bonus:
Here's another gif of fellow true freshmen Shaun Shivers who I also talked about in this thread. He had 117 yards on 13 carries and 1 TD. Shivers is almost as fast. Shivers is a Darren Sproles clone. Get used to seeing the two of these a whole lot over the next 3-4 years.
